Common Rubber Lining Materials

 

1. EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer)

◦ Water-resistant, aging-resistant, acid and alkali-resistant, ozone-resistant

◦ Suitable for: Sewage, tap water, seawater, weak acids and alkalis

2. NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber)

◦ Oil-resistant

◦ Suitable for: Oil products, oily wastewater

3. CR (Chloroprene Rubber)

◦ Weather-resistant, acid and alkali-resistant

4. FKM (Fluororubber)

◦ High temperature resistance, strong corrosion resistance

◦ Suitable for: Strongly corrosive, high-temperature media

• Temperature: ≤120℃

• Applications: Municipal water supply and drainage, sewage treatment plants, power plant desulfurization, chemical acid and alkali pipelines, HVAC circulating water, etc.

• Drive methods are mainly handle, turbine, electric, and pneumatic

Commonly Used PTFE Lining Materials

• PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene/Teflon) Resistant to strong acids and alkalis, high temperature, and almost all chemicals

• FEP (F46) Better processability, corrosion resistance close to PTFE

• PFA High temperature resistance, stronger corrosion resistance, higher price

• PO/Polyolefin High cost-performance ratio, suitable for general corrosive conditions
